This is a platinum Cartier Prive Collection Tank Asymetrique WGTA0042. It has an alligator leather strap with an platinum tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes a pull-out winding crown set with a ruby cabochon, and there is a solid case back secured with 4 screws and engraved with "CARTIER – MECHANIQUE – WATER RESISTANT – SWISS MADE," hallmarks and an edition number. The 26.2mm by 47.15mm rhomboidal solid two-body case, curved lugs, and convex art-deco-style bezel, are polished. The dial is silver with applied Arabic numerals on the even hours and stick baton hour indices. It has pointed black steel baton hour and minute hands. It has a 38-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 6.38mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Prive Collection Tank Asymetrique WGTA0042 has a mechanical manual winding Cartier caliber 1917 MC movement. It's rhodium plated and it's constructed with 19 jewels, an anti-shock system, and a monometallic balance adjusted for temperature and 5 positions.
