This is a stainless steel IWC Mark XVII IW326504. It has an integral stainless steel IWC link bracelet with a double deployant clasp, and a soft iron inner anti-magnetic shell. The solid, two-body case is polished and brushed, with downturned lugs, a sapphire crystal, and a screwed-down case back and winding crown. The dial is black with white painted Arabic numerals and luminous indexes, with an outer minute/second track, and luminous steel lozenge hands. The elongated aperture for the date is at 3 0'clock. It's water resistant to 60 meters/180 feet, This IWC Mark XVII IW326504 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber C 30110 movement thta's rhodium-plated, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, and 5 positions. It has a shock absorber, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The case, dial, and movement are all signed. IWC has made some of the premier aviator's watches in the world since 1936 when they launched the Special Pilot's Watch, and then in 1940, when they debuted the Big Pilot's Watch 52 T.S.C. on the eve of World War II. The Mark XVII "Die Fliegeruhr" (flyer's clock) is one of the premier aviator's watches in the world.
